When you’re a dog lover like I am, you always want to make sure that your dog is happy and healthy, even when life gets busy. Pet owners know that their animal buddies are at the center of their world! This week I have three apps that are perfect for any dog owner!
When you can’t be with your four-legged friend, making sure they are left in good hands is a big priority. Now finding a dog-sitter is easier than ever with Rover! Rover lets you connect with thousands of dog walkers and sitters. You can use a variety of filters and even message them directly to make sure that you find someone you can absolutely trust. Each dog walker and sitter is rated by other users so you can be sure you are not only getting quality care, but someone with experience. Rover is free for both iPhone and Android which is something that should get everyone’s tail wagging!
Cute dogs can look like the perfect little angels.. but they don’t always act like them! If you find that your dog has gotten into something that they shouldn’t have, you can be left looking for answers. Whether you have questions about your dog’s health or their bad habits, finding credible information online can be hit or miss. Luckily there’s PetCoach! With PetCoach you can digitally ask verified veterinarians any questions you may have about your furry friend and they will give you the answers you’re looking for. You can choose to keep your message private or post publicly so that others in the same situation can share their insight or learn from your experience. The app also has a built-in directory to help you locate the right kind of professional or service for your dog’s needs. PetCoach won’t cost you a thing and is available for both iPhone and Android!
The next app I hope you never have to use, but the assurance makes it worth it! Just thinking about a little pup going missing is enough to make any dog-lover worried sick. Put those worries behind you with Whistle, a Fitbit-like device for dogs. With Whistle, you will not only be able to see where your dog is with GPS but you will also be able to track its activity and sleep patterns to know if your dog is staying healthy! The tracker costs $80 with a 90 day trail period so you can return it if you’re not satisfied. The Whistle app can be picked up for free for both iPhone and Android and is bound to be your dog’s most used app… that they don’t know about!
I hope that you all found something that will help you get nothing but enjoyment out of being with your bushy tailed buddies!
